The Summit Vail Eagle Aspen region has some of the best backcountry skiing, hiking, scrambling, and fly fishing in the country. Hundreds formerly lived in Holy Cross City, but that was more than a century ago. The boom came and went, leaving only tales in its wake. In one of the loveliest cabins you\’ve ever seen, you can now add your own tale to this lovely location.
Camp Wilder: The grandmother, who established it in the 1960s, passed it along as a mining claim. Simply said, the plan for the site was ideal. A tiny 10 × 10 hut with the entire mountain to explore and room for whomever they wanted to bring along. There is one campsite on the property,
And Baker Reservoir is accessible from Nederland, a town, 10 minutes away. There are several amusing tiny shops in town to keep the family occupied. Around the cabin/campsite, there is a tonne of wildlife and wonderful things to see, as well as the gorgeous town of Nederland.
Monument Creek Glamping: Whether you have a pop-up, a safari tent, or a container house, your site is entirely yours. Outside of your room, you can explore the remainder of our 6.5-acre property, which is home to ducks, mule deer, hawks and eagles, flowers, and a lovely flowing creek that you can wade through. Walking the land is encouraged and we have both on-grid and off-grid facilities.
Keep in mind, too, that our family and other glampers also use the place. You will arrive to find a two-gallon water cooler full. Close to your site, there is a shared water spigot that is accessible. Our property\’s well provides the water city. The amount of water in your camp showers and water cooler is up to you.

Please be advised that the final two kilometers are on unmaintained roads, making a high clearance vehicle with all-wheel drive or 4×4 required.
